Richard Baker
| Richard Baker co-founded Beanstalk in 2005 and is primarily focused on the consumer and technology sectors. Richard combines an accounting pedigree with honed business skills and extensive corporate finance expertise to provide clients with authoritative advice and execution success. Richard has worked on a number of high profile transactions for Beanstalk. Recent successes include Everything Legal's sale to DAS, NVM's investment in Mantis Depositionand the cross-border acquisition of Preview Services by Cintas Corporation. Prior to Beanstalk, Richard Baker was a General Manager at Diageo plc, accountable for a significant business unit. Whilst at Diageo he held a number of strategy (including M&A), sales and marketing roles in the UK and overseas. In addition, Richard Baker has run his own businesses which have included turn-around scenarios along with successful exits. He gained significant blue chip strategy consulting experience while at Monitor Company. At Monitor, Richard worked on a number of consulting projects in renewables, the financial services sector and the technology sector. These projects gave him a wealth of commercial due diligence and business valuation experience. Richard has a first class degree in Economics with Statistics from the University of Bristol. |
