PrismaStar £2m Investment

Beanstalk has successfully concluded a venture capital investment on behalf of PrismaStar Inc. Acting as exclusive corporate finance advisor, we were able to draw upon our technology sector expertise to complete the £2 million investment with venture capital specialists Octopus Ventures Ltd.

Founded in 2005, PrismaStar is a software as a service (SaaS) business that uses patented consumer guidance technology to help consumers find the very best products and services, personalised to their own individual needs. The company also provides analytics and market research data to retailers and product manufacturers.

"I had a very positive experience using a corporate finance house to raise money. I've used private equity in the past, but at our stage of the business, professional corporate finance advisors were key to procuring institutional investors. My only regret was not to have engaged Beanstalk earlier; they are specialists at what they do and got us great terms within a very constrained timescale. Beanstalk proved to be the right choice for PrismaStar and I would have no hesitation in recommending them." Joshua Tabin - CEO, PrismaStar Inc.

Sale of Preview Services to Cintas

Beanstalk has concluded a cross-border sale on behalf of Preview Services Limited. Working as the exclusive corporate finance advisor, we completed the Preview Services divestiture to the US multinational Cintas Corporation in early September.

Preview Services is one of Europe's leading document management companies. Founded in 2002, the company has a long history of delivering exceptional specialist scanning, capture and archiving services designed to improve efficiency and reduce the costs of managing and safeguarding key documents.

"Beanstalk Management ran a competitive divestiture process for us which has yielded the very best outcome for both the company and its shareholders. Beanstalk found us the perfect acquisition partner which was driven from their compelling marketing materials, diligent research and significant network. Having introduced us to Cintas, Beanstalk then went on to handle the sale process with focus and professionalism. Beanstalk exceeded my expectations and delivered a result which would have been impossible to replicate without their involvement. I am very pleased with our choice of Beanstalk as our corporate finance advisor and I would not hesitate to use them again". Chris Wilde - co-founder, Preview Services.
