Beanstalk Management, the award winning corporate finance advisory, today announced the successful completion of an engagement with Seek4Commerce Limited, the e-commerce services provider.
Beanstalk Management was engaged to work with Seek4Commerce to help engineer shareholder value. Beanstalk focused on the factors which a potential buyer would value the most, which in turn helped influence Seek4Commerce's strategy. By scoping the market size, mapping the competitive landscape and identifying the competitive threats, Beanstalk was able to articulate the business' sustainable differentiation, which has a direct impact on maximising the price paid for a business. Additionally, Beanstalk Management supported Seek4Commerce in building a robust 5 year business plan and provided thorough investigation and analysis of various alternative pricing models.
Commenting on the involvement of Beanstalk Management, Steve Bernard, director at Seek4Commerce said: "We chose to tap into the expertise within Beanstalk Management. As the team has a particularly strong e-commerce background, this enabled them to engage on a deep technical level to fully understand the capabilities and limits of our business. The insight provided has equipped us with the knowledge and tools needed to take the business to the next level and most importantly to build value."
Beanstalk Management is an independent management-owned corporate finance boutique, focused on advising mid-market companies throughout Europe. The founders have a combined track record of over 30 years' worth of consulting as senior managers within large blue-chip companies, including McKinsey and Monitor Company, and also through buying, running and divesting their own profitable businesses.
Matthew Byatt, director of Beanstalk Management said: "We are delighted to be working with Steve and this project successfully demonstrates our rounded approach to corporate finance. More and more businesses are taking a long-term view to engineer their shareholder value and use sector-qualified corporate finance boutiques to help influence strategy." He continued: "As a consultancy that specialises in helping business start-ups bring internet-based businesses to market, Beanstalk was particularly well placed to conduct such a project and we plan to work with Steve's team over the coming years as his business grows."
