About Us


Beanstalk Management is an independent, management-owned corporate advisory house focused on advising and selling small and mid-market companies throughout Europe.

Those are the facts, but we like to deal in more than just the facts. Building a business is about passion, sacrifice and personal stories, and our clients know that we deliver for them because we have understood what their business is about, head and heart.

Founded in 2005 by Richard Baker and Matthew Byatt, we specialise in finding buyers for businesses, raising investment funds (venture capital and private equity) and developing growth strategies. We have accumulated over 30 years blue chip experience in maximising shareholder value.

We have bought, run and sold our own profitable companies. This experience has equipped us with an understanding of our clients’ needs, something that most advisors cannot match.

All this enables us to offer clients an approach to advisory relationships that is now rare. Our creativity, expertise, extensive network, and tenacity to see the job through are what distinguish us from the competition.

With a recent client list that includes innocent drinks, Cambridge Silicon Radio and Netcallidus, and a collective involvement in transactions worth in excess of £1 billion, we are proud of our track record. What our clients really value though is our commitment to excellence and delivery.
